Great atmosphere here and nice to see the quayside being rebuilt with cool places to eat. You can park for free nearby and the food is nice enough. Nice staff and a relaxing trendy vibe.
We arrived to be greeted and seated, Girl was pleasant and helpful.nWe ordered two large G and Tees while we looked at menu.nThe G and Tees were spot on, proper measures and fizzy little bottled britvic tonic with plenty ice, good value I thought at the price..nI Asked the waiter about the different menu choices and he was very helpful.nWe ordered Nachos and pickles for starters, and trio of tacos for main, waiter asked if we wanted all at once or seperately. I appreciated this attention to detail.nNachos and pickles arrived, pickles were underwhelming but the Nachos were an absolute Triumph.nThey were delicious,so much so, we forgot about the dissapointing pickles.nMain course was not so good, three limp little wraps, poorly filled, poorly presented and strange flavour.nNot to our taste at all and felt like extremely poor value at the price.nAll in all the atmosphere was good, the peeps were nice and the drinks were good value. To add insult to injury, 4 waiting staff were too busy talking at bar to notice we were trying to get the bill, 3 stars for service instead of four for that.nWould we go back....yes, 2 Nachos for starters and a different main next timenValue for money...no, possibly down to our choices but £75 seemed a lot for 1 G and T each, 1 shared Nachos, 1 tiny plate of pickles and 3 very small and underfilled shredded beef nothing else taco wrap things each.nAlso dissappointing was automatically added service charge wich you have to ask to be removed if you didnt want to pay, felt devisive.nThey lost out anyway as I would have tipped my usual tenner if £7 had not been auto added for me!
Lovely little Mexican joint. Came for North Tyneside Restaurant week and was really impressed with the burrito and fries. Good portion size and good array or options. Staff were lovely and chatty, and the place has a nice vibe. Definitely going back again to explore more of the menu.
This place is amazing!! We’ve been multiple times, and the food and service is always really good.nnToday I had a surf & turf burrito. Tasted amazing! Great portion size, and a fair price. Very friendly staff, and a really good atmosphere. Would recommend booking in advance as it gets busy
Delicious Mexican food. Had the surf and turf burrito. Very good portion sizes. Friendly waiters and speedy service time. Highly recommend!
