After seeing llyn Alaw on a tourist map and that there were picnic benches and parking we set of for a picnic, after using the postcode and not having any joy and then the coordinates we found that we could see the lake in the distance but after driving all the way around it using various lanes we were unable to find a road marked to it. It would be very handy if there were road signs. Also having now looked on google earth there doesn`t appear to be parking or picnic benches as shown on the tourist map. Further more I have to give it a 1 star as the review can not be posted without giving it something.
