So annoyed with this pharmacy! Had a flu vaccine booked in since last week for myself and my husband. Filled in the pre-appointment questionnaires beforehand etc. We took the time off work to travel here only to be told at the desk that the appointments were cancelled and we should have had a phone call informing us. Well, we didn’t! What a complete waste of time!! And this isn’t the first time my time has been wasted by this pharmacy. Lots of problems with them regarding prescriptions. Avoided them for a while but thought I’d try again for the flu vaccine. Why did I bother?!
Had an emergency prescription sent here for my baby son. Called in advance to ensure they had the item. No answer, so little choice but to drive 30 minutes to get there and find out they were closed due to staff shortages. Meaning I had no way of getting the medicine and no way of asking the pharmacy to send the prescription back into the system for me to get it at anothe location. Recklessly irresponsible conduct and I gather from the small group of other people there in a similar position that this happens regularly.
Awful. They were suddenly shut on Saturday 23 April because they could not get a pharmacist. The reason given was 'due to Covid' but that doesn't excuse their not having the professional wherewithal to provide cover. They are now unable to say when they will be able to fill prescriptions so this situation will apparently go on indefinitely. Lloyds Pharmacy is badly managed.
After waiting a few days for my prescription to arrive, under the premise they will call if they get any information of its pending arrival. I went to check to make sure it had not arrived already, I was met by a very friendly young lady who was unable to help so passed me to her colleague who told me that they cannot get the prescription I need anymore as the drug is unavailable. After a weak apology for not informing me previously that they would not be able to help she gave me back my form and off I went to boots who were able to order what I needed in the following day. Don't wait in pain to be messed around. Go to boots!
There is a lady who works at this pharmacy who is called Becky, she goes above and beyond her duties to make sure she can help in any way she can and is so lovely with it! Never made me feel like we were causing her any hassle or like we were asking for the world when we were just trying to get my son's medication sorted out. Other places have messed us around so much it's unbelievable. But besides Becky I'm afraid I haven't got anything else positive to say, but she alone deserves the 5 star rating.
Very kind and very helpful people struggling with poor equipment, poor supply and understaffing. Be kind to them in return!
Badly organised, slow staff with no sense of urgency whatsoever.
Always take my prescriptions here as they are very conscious about keeping people waiting. I think the longest I've had to wait is 10 minutes which is way better than the other local ones in town.
Wasted an hour trying to get my prescription because you are so unorganised I’ve been to the till 3 times just to have my time wasted get more people serving rather than one woman,
Just got back from the Lloyds pharmacy in store Sainsburys in Witney Oxfordshire. The chap who gave me my Flu jab..was wonderful..precise with his questions, caring, a sense of humour I could go on!
