Until a year ago this pharmacy was very satisfactory. I don't know what has happened since then, but it is now most unsatisfactory. They do not answer the phone for ages, when they do it is as if everything is too much bother. Rang yesterday to ask for my thyroxine to be delivered. Assistant told me they couldn;t deliver on either Tuesday or Wednesday. Asked if I could come down and get it. I told her I am 86, disabled and can hardly walk to the end of my street. Appalling!!

Despite the useful fact that this pharmacy is next to the doctors surgery the service in here has become so much worse over the years. I put a prescription in which needed to be ordered over 1 week ago. I was told it would be ready in 3-5 days. I then attended a week later to collect it and despite it being there I had to stand there waiting for 45 mins while they put it together. At first they couldn’t find my prescription and no one seemed to know what they were doing. Most of the staff are rude and not one person apologised for me having to wait. Nor did they even notice that I was stood there waiting for so long. The pharmacy was busy when I attended but this isn’t the first time the service has been poor. Each time I attend it seems to get worse.

Been using this chemist for a few years. Easy because it was outside the doctors. Gone elsewhere now since the closure of the Lloyd's chemist in the centre, it's become really slow on prescriptions etc. I feel very sorry for the staff who are rushed off their feet. A bad move lloyds, you have lost a lot of custom due to this.

Used Lloyds for years, always helpful and answered the phone, really liked the regular staff but service has gone down hill drastically.You cannot get through on the phone to sort out what is serious medication for me. Waited all day and delivery has not arrived. They told my partner my medication was not there and was not available until the end of the month, total error on their part, it was there. The Asian lady did not bother to check properly. When I was well enough I went to sort out my medication. They could not dispense part of it because it had been over 2wks. Had to go without pain patch and wait. Now I've waited all day for delivery and it has not turned up and I cannot get through on phone again. Getting very stressed out which is not good for my health. They closed the Lloyds in town and made no arrangements to cover the extra work at Morgan Street. Thinking of leaving as I need a reliable service and be able to get through on the phone. 😡

Absolutely horrendous i will never go there again after handing in a prescription over an hour later i was asked did you give us a prescription finally after another half an hour i got my prescription will never go there again
