Really nice architecture and cosy place for gatherings, meals or a drink The staff is very friendly and efficient during our visit...one of the nicest and clean pubs!! Location is very central near the town center not far from the shops and market place... very popular place in the evening
never have an issue with going here even though my wife is in a wheelchair really friendly and helpful staff , very clean and friendly put prefer coming to this pub than the tanners hall one near the gala bingo hall more spacious and also you have more room on the ground floor level to move around also easy access to get to the disabled toilet
Reasonably priced, busy and plenty of tables. Food was hot and tasty enough.
We visit this pub every week and have done so for several years! I have to say the pub is going down the nick We were there on Friday and went to the bar for our usual bottle of prosecco to be told they were out of stock,the only one available was a bottle at a price of approximately £22 I then asked for a bottle of Pinot Grigio also out of stock in fact they didn't have any bottles of wine so we had to buy it by the glass!! On our previous visit they were out of draft wine!! The toilets weren't very clean! The staff as they were were running around with food and didn't have time to clear the tables!! I don't know what has happened to this pub it used to be a pleasant place to go but I think we may be having to find an alternative venue
Great service , nice pint and food was quick and tasty
It's ok. Just another Wetherspoons. Their food has gone down hill in my view; you seem to pay more for less. Things like the panini's used to come with salad or chips, now they're paid for extras.
Great spoons for a drink or a meal after shopping.Very efficient staff and quick service would highly recommend !!!
You simply can't go wrong with weatherspoons cheap and cheerful . Is it 5 star hoke cooked food ?? Definitely not but for what you pay I think it's fantastic .
Probably the best public house in Darlington. Good value. As a real ale drinker, no where better for miles. Had ultimate burger, knocks spots off any McDonald's or bk . Thanks Tim
Was disgusting my chicken was raw my friends gamon was fatty and a job to eat. Waited to long to be served and warm chocolate fudge cake was still cold. I am a supporter of wether spoons but this was a bad experience today.
