I accompanied my relative, who is over 80, to the Wallsend branch, but was then prevented from entering the interview room “because of covid”, whatever that means - no masks or social distancing was evident anywhere in the branch. Perhaps it was because Lloyds then attempted to sell my relative a credit card and house insurance she doesn’t want or need, and this despite the fact that she is frail and easily confused. Her interviewer tried several times to get her to say she was to be given “excellent feedback”, but in truth the poor lady emerged shaken and distressed. A truly appalling experience, Lloyds.
Today Friday 02/12/2022 This bank has been chronic, all three cash machines are not in use and the other two machines in Wallsend had long queues at them!!!!
Friendly polite & courteous staff, who are always on hand, dedicated & willing to help & assist you whatever your financial or transactional needs maybe. This particular Lloyds branch Wallsend, High Street is well maintained, tidy & clean & is probably one of if not the best Lloyds branch I've ever had the pleasure of using. Whenever I've used this branch, I've always found both the customer experience & service to be pleasurable, kind as well as exemplary. Whether your dealing with pounds, pennies, notes, cheques & or coins you'll be treated with utmost respect & professionalism as well as feel warmly greeted & welcomed with a smile. Definitely a bank & most certainly a branch in which I can highly recommend.
