Been with Lloyd's over 13 years . Every months I've paid credit card payments . Overdraft payments and kept my account within limits. After getting to the point where I am able to clear my limits and not need help work credit cards or overdrafts Lloyd's decides to take my credit card limit from £2750 down to £500. I then get a text saying my £4000 overdraft is to be removed over the next 4 months. I have since closed my credit card account and fully removed my overdraft and if it was not for the fact I'm trying to buy a house right now I would of closed all accounts. No answers no reasons just a shocking bank who take away banking services all due to the fact they are no longer making money from them. Such a shame used to be a great bank.
I used to be a Lloyds customer a few decades ago, and when I decided to close my account, due to poor service, I was asked to attend the bank and was ridiculed in public. I had been a customer with them since my parents opened an account for me as a child. I have never set foot inside a branch until today. Bad move. As I entered I was approached and asked why I was there. I explained that I had an old £20 note and understood that any bank will exchange it for the new type. She said I could put it in the paying in machine. When I said I wasn't a Lloyds customer I was shown the door. I went to HSBC a few doors down, who cheerily changed it in a few seconds without any fuss, despite me not being with that bank. Guess who is never going back there again?
Every time they make my elderly neighbour 85 stand in a queue whilst just 1 cashier takes 20 minutes to serve 1 customer - common occurrence and a disgrace !
Easy entry very helpful staff. Pleasant surroundings for a bank
Oh Barbara Donna a lower tier/basic customer facing employee asked me if its my card I'm using whilst in the bank. I've used Lloyd's bank since 16years of age and its the first time anyone in green has asked me that In a bank in 18years. I asked her do I look suspicious , Donna said no she asks everyone the same question. I notified Donna that her behaviour was unacceptable in this day and age, and a professional environment where she was being paid to serve me is no place to start security checks of her own. I'll be coming to submit a formal complaint Donna, and all the staff that ignored her behaviour, deemed that level of service acceptable will have a few questions from me too. No wonder all the Lloyd's banks are closing no decent staff left.
The majority of the time I would say this is a useful and help branch in which I do my banking. Although today it was just not and the person serving me was just rude. Whilst I understand there is a deposit limit of 10cash bags per day. There is nothing to say that this is per account etc. Whilst this I kind of understand is to try and help with queuing and the amount of cash in the bank. In a nearly empty bank with no extra cue I was told I couldn't deposit the remaining few coins I had and that I was going to have to come back. Generally I have no issues with this but when completely ignored and blanked when asking a question by the representative this was a little annoying. A bank that won't take money, and rude staff not the kind of place I want to hold on to my money
The staff are always friendly and welcoming even in these difficult times. It is always a pleasure to do business here. If your looking for a friendly helpful bank in the area this is the one I would recommend.
3 Stars. Would rate higher if it wasn't for that fact that all ATMs are inside the facility. Whenever I go to withdraw cash at a Lloyds ATM, I can never go in because it's closed.
Always good service..
after meeting with the mortgage avisor who tried to sell me everthing you can imagine, it turns out that they are not very knowlegable about the products that they are selling after giving him all the relavent infomation that he said was ok it turns out it wasnt ok and has wasted a vast amount of my time
