This review isn't really so much of Lloyds Bank in Royston as of Michelle Courtney who works there. For a couple of years now, she has been unfailingly helpful and knowledgeable about the Power of Attorney I hold for my mother's Lloyds account. Almost no one else, not just at Lloyds but at various institutions I've had to deal with, seems to understand Powers of Attorney, even though they are surely very commonly used nowadays, given the ageing population. Anyway, Michelle has been not just a godsend but a lifesaver in the help she has given.
Went in today because Barclays as always was shut. Got served by Sue at Lloyd's she is very professional and friendly and she helped me when barclays couldn't. Highly recommend this branch.
Used to be a great little branch. Regrettably, following their decision to no longer allow dogs in, I will never use the branch again, conducting all my business banking online.
Love the logo guys - haven't seen a horses rear that fine since i last looked in the mirror lol ! :- But in all seriousness, this is a really great place to do some banking after a hard day on the tools!
A great service when opening under 19s account, met the bank manager and the kids had a positive experience, thank you.
