I visited the branch today with my daughter and Lynda was absolutely fantastic at helping her set up her online banking. Spent time to show her how to use it. Excellent customer service thank you Lynda
Staff are always friendly and efficient.
What a lovely building this bank is in. Had an couple of questions to ask today, spoke to a really nice lady in there she helped us just fine. Told us what we needed to know. Very polite.
My wife and I had an appointment on 28.02.2023 with John at the Bank he provided us some very good information that was very helpful. Thank you John for your time and help. Steven
Never had a problem when using this bank friendly staff excellent service
Have to agree with other reviews, while it’s ideally located in Tamworth town and has the chance to be a great bank for its customers, the lack of drive and attitude of the staff is appalling. Almost every time I’ve been in I’m presented with a huge queue which seems to be mainly down to the majority not all of the till staff who deem it more important to have long personal chats with people knowing full well others are waiting and becoming agitated. They’re aware of it too as customers may call out or talk loudly regards having to be made to wait while they chat which is clearly within earshot and I’ve witnessed the staff roll their eyes and continue talking, then when the next person gets called forward there’s no apology for waiting and quite clearly an almost ’snobbish' attitude. They forget some are on lunch breaks or have timeframes and there’s nothing more annoying in this situation than being made to wait and not being treated like a valued customer. For me, even if you know the customer you’re serving, you maintain professionalism and politeness and control the conversation making sure your current customer is appreciated but then made aware you need to serve others. Controlling the conversation with something like “Ok well I’d better serve the next customer and get this queue down, so have a lovely day and see you next time” would do it and I’m sure people would understand. Even the speed of the staff seems painfully slow and drawn out, almost like they're relishing the power of making people wait and dawdle when they need to get up out of their seats like they’re off for a stroll instead of being swift and efficient. All while the queue grows larger and longer. In a time where people are being layed-off and businesses and cutting back, I know if I were in this line of work, I’d be making sure I’m justifying my job and not making people have second thoughts about where to bank.
Went in the bank 09-03-21 to close a standing order & can honestly say found all the staff there at the counter extremely kind, helpful, funny, entertaining & a pleasure to talk to, Denise & the team were fantastic Thankyou Ladies x

Lynda from George Street Tamworth was very helpful in setting up an overseas transfer. Made it less stressful for me thank you Lynda
Everytime I had to wait at least 20 min in the lane. They really need more personal there.
