Talk about customer abuse ! They have closed the Lancaster branch without any warning or reciprocal arrangements, so you can't make any deposits. When I phoned the call centre, a pleasant young man said I should go to either Grange or Garstang, (40 & 10 miles away) but not to post anything to Lancaster as it wouldn't be seen for a week at least. He said that he couldn't help me any further, but when I said I'd like somebody to call me back he said 'that isn't going to happen' and 'any complaint must be resolved in this call' I dread to think what would happen if I'd posted something important that was time sensitive. I think it's time for a change.

Been with this bank for years. The one time i needed some help with finding an old lost account number for a ppi claim. As soon as i mentioned ppi the lady had a right face on her. almost growling like a rottweiler. As if it was going to be taking money from her pocket. she then got someone else in the office , tried to make me feel an idiot. very snotty customer service, as if they are the bee knees and above everybody else. mind all banks are the same. meant to be there for the purpose of looking after OUR money but just rip you off in the process.

WE have dealt with Lloyds Bank for over 15 years, during which time they have performed in a professional business like manner. However, In recent months our branch in Morecambe has been closed. We have modified the way in which we do our banking to suit Lloyds. This has been difficult but it has worked. We visited today to be told that the Lancaster Branch will be closed for refurbishment between 26th August 2017 and the 12th September 2017. I was surprised to learn that LLoyds have made NO provision for any of its Lancaster Clients to deposit cash or cheques during this period. The answer given by the head office is to travel to another Branch - apparently Grange Over Sands is only 14 miles away (I suppose it is if you're an Olympic swimmer). By road it's considerably further. In any case it should not be the client who is inconvenienced. LLoyds Bank goes down and down in my estimation - In the current climate a bank should be doing better - Shame on you LLoyds - You're letting us down!!!!

Great bank manager at the Lancaster branch, one of the friendliest people I have had the pleasure of meeting.. Fantastic service. Well Done!
