Llanrwst station is served by a single track railway. The journey from Llandudno Junction to Llanrwst and onwards, has to be one of the UK's truly scenic and special railway journeys. The line runs through the beautiful beautiful Conwy valley and follows the course of the river Conwy to Llanrwst. After Llanrwst the train carries onto Blaenau Ffestiniog via Betws-y-Coed. If you happen to holiday in North Wales consider a ride on a truly scenic railway route, always remembering that the service's rolling stock is a touch old and rickety!
