Other campsites should take note! This had the best ablution facilities we've ever seen, plus charging points for phones and no extra charges for hot showers. It's right on the Anglesey Coast Path so it was dead handy to walk on and set up our tent on a great level grass pitch. Our fellow campers were friendly and it's also very close to loads of big shops so it makes a great resupply point. On top of that it charges less than most other sites on the island. What a find!
Just returned from a one night stay here Great site and great location for walking the dogs to the beach and coastal path .nSite itself has very spacious pitches looks like new showers being done and toilets etc very clean . The site has everything you need .nThe site is dog friendly and I believe they have to be on a lead at all times ours always are although next door to us didn’t always have theirs on leads one came running on our pitch and another time as we walked past both of theirs came running round barking at our two .nWe will definitely return as we loved the site just a shame people don’t follow the rules .nThankyou Donna for a lovely stay see you again soon I hopenDiane
Hidden Gem, we've been visiting this site for 3yrs & to be honest wont go back to our old one again. Donna the owner is friendly & makes you welcome soon as you go through the gate. Facilities are clean, camp is tidy. It as EDU & basic pitches.nIn the centre on Holyhead so all shops with walking distance, Phenros beach just over the road, Phenros Country park within walking distance.nCan get busy at times with motorhomes using to/ from ferry but its well organised that your not squashed in, & are normally 1 night. Dogs allowed but must be kept on leads. There is also a static caravan for hire which is high up in its own area & beautiful views to the sea.nDonna is always improving the site but doesnt charge silly fees to do the work.nYou will falling in love with this Hidden Gem
This is a great site in a fantastic location the photos do not do it justice. The place itself is next to the beach which is really nice. The site is really well kept and all the facilities work well and are clean. The pitches are really spacious.nNearby there are plenty of supermarkets in walking distance and one great little micro brewery.nThe owner is really friendly and helpful, I would definitely revisit thanks.
Loved this little campsite. Awesome location. We booked it for an overnight stay before going on the ferry to Ireland. Owners are just fab, they have just had a new family shower and amenities block built to the highest standards which is small in size but very fitting as the campsite is small but fantastic. Wonderful easy experience staying here.
