Just wanted a quick drink as it was a boiling hot day, someone pointed me in the direction of this pub. Good location as close to the train station, beautiful garden with seating. Apparently the food is excellent here too but I didn't eat. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff.Location: 4/5
A group of us had a meal here and drinks in the bar after. The food was good, the restaurant service a little slow. Service in the busy bar was good and the locals friendly. There was live music in the style of "Sea sick Steeve" and girls and ladies got up and danced. A great night out.Service: 5/5
Staying in the area and led by reviews to the Llanerch Inn. A beautiful, cosy country pub from the outside, however, most of the staff seemed absolutely disinterested. We were directed to our table and left for 10-15mins, at which point my partner went to the bar to find out the menu and how to order. He was met by a bartender who seemed far more involved in his conversation with a local friend than providing a friendly helpful service to new customers. Needless to say we were non the wiser and still no food order after about half an hour of being there and a 2 & 4 year in tow we decided to take out custom elsewhere.
Stopped her for a bite to eat on our way through mid Wales. The food was great, lovely atmosphere and the staff were really friendly. Thoroughly recommend.Service: 5/5
The kind of place you can go for a few quiet pints, a nice bit of food, or end up in some random persons kitchen at 5am lovely old building great staff and great drinks on tap, the outside area is gleaming in the summer!Service: 5/5
Meals are overpriced £18 for a small chewy steak when you can get a 18oz for £12 and a free pint, everything was over cooked and took ages to cook truth is they were messing around in the kitchen as you could hear them messing about and shouting at each other in the kitchen, went there for my mums birthday on Tuesday just to wait ages and to be handed what resembled a leather shoe, they said it was as they were busy when the place was empty and also as my mums steak was well done almost like they think people don't know how to cook and how long it takes to cook when steak, chips, mushrooms, onion rings, veg and tomatoes are some of the quickest things to cook.
We only went in for food an drink, have been a few times. Atmosphere and staff was lovely, not a great choice of largers but everything is okLocation: 4/5
Centuries old alehouse with a most welcoming and helpful barman. The Robinson's cider was superb.Rooms: 3/5
Nice period pub, plenty of space outside if the weather is good. Sadly, my food was overcooked, the oven chips were crunchy and the gammon was tough and dry. Saw some other people's food and it looked fine so perhaps mine was a one off..
Went for food, perfect as always as service always is too. Can't fault them, definitely recommend. Walkability: Within walking distance of main street, train station and bus stop. Food & drinks: Brilliant food as always. Good value, not over priced.
