A beautiful campsite recommend by friends. Owners couldnt do enough for us, even helped with 2 repairs to our caravan. A lovely rural site with amazing views and near to so many sites in Pembrokeshire. A really good base with the amenities we needed for our weeks stay. Lovely electric shower in converted caravan. Thank you Dave and Eileen we will be back. Elaine n Paul
Avoid like the plague. Toilet is a DIY wooden shed which doubles as an insect hotel. Bathroom is a converted caravan full with black mold. Owners are very unfriendly. I bought electricity and used it to put my EV on a slow 5 amp charge to negate phantom drain and camp mode, I honestly did not realize this wasn't allowed. The owner, instead of acting as an adult, overreacted and went on a rampage and shook me down for an extra 20 pound. The manner in which the owner conducted himself is not hospitable nor welcoming. If he had kept his cool and just asked me I would have been fine with paying an extra fee. However this owner forgot his anger management and bullied me into paying more, I could not get away fast enough after meeting this unpleasant person.
We stayed here last week, May 2021, Dave and Eileen are so welcoming and friendly. Well maintained short grass. The site is unsheltered with a lovely view across open fields especially with all the yellow rapeseed at this time of year. Electric and water on pitch and easy waste disposal. There is a caravan converted into a shower room and toilet very quirky. We had 2 days of heavy rain and strong wind but were warm and comfy in our little caravan. Site is situated for easy access to coast and Fishguard and Presilli Hills about 10 mins drive. Nice country lanes for walking or cycling. Thank you Dave and Eileen
Nice big field ideal for kids to run around in and well maintained. Quirky toilet/shower facilities but clean and warm.
Lovely site. Very clean, short grass, generous pitches, great shower and toilet room converted caravan. Dave and Eileen very welcoming. Wonderful expansive views. Look forward to visiting again next year.
Mother and I have just come back from spending 16 nights here and loved the site. clean toilet and shower room, a converted elddis caravan site is spotless and Dave keeps the grass nice and short. And it's flat. Both Dave and Eileen are lovely people and can't do enough for you, even offering me a lift to and from the garage when I had a problem with my car, we even went to play skittles with them and their friends at the village hall and had a great night. We are now looking forward to staying with them again later in the year, and would recommend the site to anyone. Steve and Pam.
An amazing campsite, secure so quite happy to allow kids to run about whilst we set up. So large we had our own area.
This site was so beautifully clean and maintained there was water at our pitch which made life so much easier .a very quirky toilet and shower which was a converted caravan it was like having your own bathroom . The owners Eilleen and Dave are so welcoming and made it a very personal stay no thing was to much trouble and having local knowledge they were able to recommend some great places it is a great location to stay as everything is within a short drive . We will be back thank you . Maria and Steve
Arrived intending it to be a one night stay but ended up staying four! A lovely, mostly flat site, with great views of the surrounding countryside. Easy to find, just off the A40 from Fishguard to Haverford West but road noise was not too intrusive. Really good WiFi connection plus reasonable Freeview TV reception when weather was good, but it did get a bit blocky when the wind and rain arrived. However, our aeriel is the Avtex stick one which has been extensively criticized and is usually rubbish at picking up anything, so we considered ourselves lucky and could not complain! We were the only unit on site, so had exclusive use of the unique and quirky old Elddis caravan, now rather ingeniously converted into a very effective and welcoming shower room/toilet. The pitches are large, have electric and water on each pitch, and seeing a marsh harrier and a pair of red kites added to our delightful experience. The owners were extremely welcoming and chatty whilst appreciative of our need for privacy. We've tried to find faults in order to provide a fully balanced review, but can't find any! All in all, a gem of a site which fulfilled our needs and at a very reasonable price.
Great campsite and wonderful big field for playing ball games. There is nice short grass and ample pitch space with fantastic panaramic views. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We would definately recommend to others.
