Excellent place with freshly baked home made cake, buns, and coffee. With great gluten free options. All reasonably priced. Also savoury snacks, lunches, toasties and sandwiches. In a lovely area. The people are really friendly and helpful to deal with. One to take note of. A lovely spot.
First time in this lovely place outstanding surroundings and a great cup of coffee. Will be back for sure.Food: 3/5
I had a wonderful experience here today. Stopped to get fish-and-chips and a tuna-onion-cheese sandwich for takeaway. The bill was less than £11.50 and the food was ready really quickly. It tasted great too.
Well, we ate there just because we were very hungry. The quality of food was very poor. I got a burger and that was the most overpriced burger I've ever had. Actually it looks like they got the cheapest bun and ''burger meat'' form Co-op across the road, add some mayo, put it into a microwave to heat it up and the serve with few leaves of salad, one cherry tomato and a tbs of coleslaw. That costs £8,95. Did not expect anything spectacular but, for god sake, increase the price to £12 and get some real meat and buns, or charge half price for what you give to people currently. Coffee was also disappointing.
Lovely, friendly, café with excellent food and amazing cake. Pro tip: leave room for cake.
In our trip around Scotland, We were in Aberfoyle for a short time. Looking for some place for having lunch, we found this cozy coffee shop. It is a good place to have a breaf and tasty meal. The atmosphere is nice and the staff girls very friendly.
Lovely wee cafe as we were passing through Aberfoyle. Staff were lovely and the food was good too. Would definitely recommendFood: 5/5
Called in for lunch today and was very pleasantly surprised. Hubby had fish and chips while I opted for black pudding, egg and chips. Washed down with a pot of tea for two. Very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.
After many years of staying at Aberfoyle for a holiday we finally visited Liz MacGregors. We never realised what we were missing! Had a lovely lunch, very good value and home cooked. I think we've found a new place to eat
We had a lovely visit today in the glorious sunshine. We had chocolate cake, lemon and elderflower and a scone with jam and cream the octogenarian declared it one of the best he'd eaten All were delicious along with a good cup of coffee. Reasonably priced, dog friendly and pleasant staff. The hot food looked super but sadly we only had time for a cake stop, but we'll try and sneak back! Thoroughly recommended.
