The whole process of the sale of my property was seamless from the very start and was expertly managed by living spaces. The whole viewing element was dealt solely by their agents with feedback provided following each appointment. I received fantastic support and communication throughout the sale up to completion. Living spaces provided a 5* service, and I would highly recommend them.
I am very disappointed at the current level of service. I have used Living Spaces since 2017and standards have dropped significantly. Emails not replied to and nobody bothered to address my concerns which I raised a week ago. Furniture in the property was replaced without my consent or acknowledgement with an eyewatering bill of >£400 which I only realized a few weeks later after it was actioned.

I’ve been renting with this agency coming up to 4 years now. Everything has been great with them until I had to report a major repair as well as a couple of minor repairs. November 2022 there was a massive leak in the main bathroom, 4 contractors came out on different dates to advise me that new flooring and a new shower is needed to be installed. I chased this up with the agency many times to be told that a quote has been sent to the landlord and they are just awaiting approval. 18 months later and still absolutely nothing. 9 emails sent regarding this, 2 of which were delivered and read but when I rang to chase this they denied all knowledge of the emails. I called 4 days ago to get an update on what’s happening and yet again advised they’re ’awaiting approval from the landlord’ as they haven’t been able to get in touch with him the past several times regarding the bathroom. The amount of bugs and the smell from the damaged bathroom is appalling, which makes me think the agency have heard word from the landlord but they don’t want to pay the bill for a new bathroom fit. Come February 2024, I had a burst boiler which flooded a lot of the flat and damaged the carpet which caused it to rise and produce an awful smell in the flat and what also damaged the underneath flat. They were very quick to come out and change the boiler and to also get a contractor out to clean the carpet. Unfortunately the carpet in the living room was stained from the brown liquid produced by the boiler so the carpet is now discoloured. Again, this has been chased up 4 times all of which the same excuse ‘waiting for the landlords approval’ even though I’ve advised the agency the carpet smells foisty and just makes the flat smell disgusting. 3 weeks ago I reported a repair due to my washing machine being stuck on just the spin cycle. The repair was not picked up until I rang earlier this week which is going to ‘looked at’ and a quote ‘sent to the landlord’ which I strongly doubt. When I called earlier last week I requested to speak to one of the staff I’ve dealt with before as she’s very helpful and quick on getting things done. The girl I spoke to said she would pass on the message to the lady I wanted to speak to would call me back. No call/email at all. It’s a shame because I’ve had absolutely no problems with the agency before, it’s ever since I’ve reported the last few repair requests that I’m either being lied to, ignored or just forgotten about and the flat is in dire need of these repairs, especially the bathroom and carpet.
Every member of the team I interacted with were professional, considerate, and went above and beyond to ensure my sale went through in a timely manner. They communicated with me every step of the way and helped make this journey as seamless as possible.
This is the worse renting experience I have ever had. After moving into a flat with my partner, we discovered the place had not been cleaned at all, Door handles were not secured properly and have missing screws, there is dust everywhere that turns your socks black, dirt and cobwebs on literally everything including INSIDE the freezer, and many bugs. That's not even the biggest problem, the worst is that the windows are bolted shut and there are locked bars covering them which we were never given keys for. After reporting the issue and needing to make several phone calls for updates which we never recieved we finally got an email saying a contractor would be sent out. This was sent 3 weeks after the origonal report was made and after countless emails and phone calls several days every week trying to find out what is happening. We were told the contractor would be here between 9Am and 4PM as it got to 3PM and we still had not heard anything I called the property managemnt team to get an update and yet again was told I'd get a call once they know what is happening. It got to 4:30PM so I decided to call again as I know the office closes at 5PM and still had not heard anything. Turns out the contractor was too busy to get to us today so after 3 weeks of waiting for somebody to come out and after finally being given a day. We still had to chase them to see what was happening just to be told that nobody will be coming to look at things. The property management team is a complete joke and not even worth contacting. You are better off reporting your issues to your council and getting a court to force them to take action.
Since the flat reverted to me, on the death of my wife, I cannot speak too highly of the help and assistance given to me by the staff of Living Spaces. As a new landlord, they have given me a huge amount of help and guidance, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.
