Wonderful food and friendly staff. I recommend the Sicilian Paccheri - creamy pistachio pasta with prawn tails and delicious stracciatella mozzarella bits. The onlu flaw of that dish is that it doesnt come with more cheese.
Excellent restaurant went Saturday lunch, great menu, food and service - lovely team. Interesting menu of classics and street food, would have liked to try more but absolutely stuffed. Fab pizzas
Close in vicinity to the train station two of our party were catching trains and an enjoyable vibe although rather loud if this matters to you…it did matter to one of our party who has a hearing aid and to its credit it was very busy on a ‘school night’ Tuesday. The food was okay although the fries were too salty for the member of our party who actually loves salt on her food! I ordered beef ragu and it was nice but didn’t contain a lot of beef. The two who had pizza said they were very good Our only real gripe was the service and they include service charge without asking although obviously you can still deduct this. When booking we knew that we would only have the table for two hours 6pm to 8pm in our case. However at 7.10 we were told they would need the table back in 20 minutes. I said we had been told 8pm so the waitress went to check and came back and said that no, it was needed back. Luckily when booking by phone they sent a confirmation email which I had screenshot to send to others in our group so could show her this. The waitress said she would honour what we had been told and apologised. However it sullied the atmosphere a little and we didn’t bother to stay for dessert. It just felt as though we were being rushed constantly…other than when we asked where a couple of drinks were as we’d thought they’d been overlooked, and were told they were very busy and they’d be with us soon. Not a problem at all usually but it seemed a bit one rule for them and a different rule for us. Sadly I do t think it’s a venue we’d choose again.
Just outstanding! Incredible pizza, fab wine, great service thanks Sara 3 things you need to build, and maintain a ‘destination’ experience - and you did it with a massive from me. Thanks and see you soon. The first of many I hope
I had lunch here. We ordered the Mixed Calamari & Prawn, and Rocket Salad for starters. Then the Seabass & Crab Ravioli, and Beef Wagu Ribs Pasta.. I actually enjoyed the rocket salad, the seasoning sauce was quite tasty. The Ravioli and the Pasta was little hard, my thoughts just need another 30 secs other than that it was nice. Something different for lunch for us. Would come back. P.s. I love the NEWSPAPER MENU! Nice thought. Bravo to the designer
Lovely little place. Has upstairs seating accessible from the back, letting you walk through and see all the lovely good and kitchen Service is great. Very friendly and informative. Coffees are gorgeous. The food is really nice. Some of the best pork belly we've had, and the Carbonara was really rich and delicious. Highly recommended.
This Italian restaurant is good. We had a mixer of small plates, which I can recommend as are all good. We had Porchetta crostini, arancini, chicken liver pate, mini calzone and polpette. Started with a Negroni and followed with a primitivo red Wine.
Have come here twice already for their amazing pizza. Will be coming back again during my semester here in Leeds. Highly recommend it, one of the best pizzas I have every had. The other items on the menu are a little pricy however the pizza is around normal pricing and is worth every cent.
An excellent meal, with service to match. Starters beef carpaccio and chicken liver pate were both marvellous followed by lobster & king prawn spaghetti and ravioli in a beef Ragu, which were both delicious...will definitely be eating here again, what a fantastic evening.
Had a great time at this restaurant with some friends for dinner. Friendly staff who were accomodating to us, given some of our group arrived late. Nice selection of drinks and food. We really enjoyed both the pasta and pizza. Fantastic choice of starters and Italian street food too. There are a number of high-quality Italian restaurants in Leeds, but LIVIN’Italy stands out as one of the best. Bit pricey, but certainly worth it!
