We recently asked Tom to help us sort a problem with the electrics on our Citroen Relay camper. He was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and really patient with two newbies. He also talked us through an app to explain how to work the heating and hot water in our van and chatted about how we could do further possible upgrades but without pressuring us.nIt is great to feel that there is someone local that we can ask for help without feeling stupid! Thanks Tom.
Tom helped us with some fixes and improvements to our Mercedes sprinter. He is so knowledgeable and experienced in all things van related as well as a great communicator. Would not hesitate to recommend him, I think getting a custom build from someone who has lived in a van themselves is the way to go. Plus his dogs kept me entertained
I used Tom and Live Slow Campers to make some upgrade/changes LPG gas, shower door, fan vent, minor joinery, WiFi instal to my treasured van Savannah. I was delighted with how communicative and transparent Tom was from the outset, keeping to his quotation, and the standard of finished work. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone looking to do something similar.nOh and by the way they are very convenient to Thirsk railway station if you are worried about leaving the van with them!!!!
Tom at Live Slow Campers has helped us out on several occasions with repairs and upgrades to the van. You can always expect and warm welcome and tom really cannot do enough for you! As full time vanlifers, tom has always been quick to offer support, or help us out of a jam. He is incredibly knowledgeable and always able to offer in-depth advice, whether regarding electrics/upgrades or travel plans.
