We're so happy to have this restaurant so close to us! We didn't have a reservation but were kindly greeted and had a table ready immediately. The space is small but very cozy, good separation between the tables and doesn't get noisy. Good ambience music that allows you to speak comfortably. The staff is so helpful and always paying attention to see if you need anything. The food came SO FAST! We were really surprised by how little time it took and we were so hungry so this just added points. We ate the Xi'an noodles Dan Dan and wagyu shin beef and they were really good, not too spicy if you normally eat spicy food and have some tolerance, portion sizes was perfect as well. The price is so reasonable considering the area and amount of food. Will definitely go back to try more dishes
Very nice restaurant! Everything is great! My favourite dishes are wagu beef steak salad & crispy pork spring rolls! Vietnamese beer is also good. Definitely will come back again.
SUMMARY The Xian spicy noodles will make you come back again and again. Kudos to the service staff for a genuine and fast service - you deserve a rare 5/5 rating. FOOD We tried the xian pork a noodles and xian chicken noodles. Both were extraordinarily delicious! The noodles are perfectly cooked and the meat is well seasoned. The best dish was the xian chicken noodles. As a side I also tried their 'pork hamburger'. This is more of a fastfood type of product however given the price it was alright. DRINKS We had the tea - as expected. One note to the restaurant: the cups are quite small and aren't dual layered so some people might burn their fingers If they are not used to the Chinese style tea pot. SERVICE Greeted by two people doing an excellent job, along with fast service and payment as well, this is what made me decide on 5 stars in this review. AMBIENCE The ambience / instagrammability of the place is just average. While they did hang some plants fake to green things up you still get the feeling that you are sitting in a canteen. The highlight of the room was the lighting - the light bulbs as well as the lighting itself was perfectly calibrated for this kind of place. Don't come here for pictures, come here for a genuine meal! VALUE The value is above average, considering the amount of meat you get. My partner did comment saying the portion sizes maybe is on the small side however I disagree. Good value place.
Absolutely lovely interior and a great menu with lots of lovely sounding dishes. We went for the Salt and Pepper Squid and Spring Rolls to start with, which were delicious. Particularly enjoyed the squid which was really flavourful. We then had Pho and the Beef Shin Noodles for our mains which were equally delicious and very filling. The service was brilliant also. Glad we found this restaurant and if we are in the area again we will definitely return.
It's a little gem found in the neighborhood of South Quay. Really impressed with the beef noodles dish and the shaking beef. The dishes were all excellent. I'll definitely be back for more soon!
Great value and lots of flavour. In particular the chicken wings, Dan Dan noodles were please firm and lots of chili oil. The lamb skewers were rich with cumin. Would recommend.
If you are ever in the area or even in London, take a detour and go to this restaurant to sample its tasty and flavourful Vietnamese food London has to offer! Everything taste ultra fresh and vibrant, owners are in touch with the quality and needs of their guest. Beautiful restaurant and a light - airy ambience. Will be coming back in future.
Not the best Vietnamese I’ve had in London, it was quite average and the pho was quite small for the price, not even alot of beef. The soup tasted like msg was added and not really authentic. There was also none of the usual bean sprouts and herb lime dish that usually comes with the pho, although we saw on the next table one of the customers had it, and even got a second dish from the waiter, the bean sprout dish was quite small. Only a few bits of beef in the bowl of noodles, and the mince in betel leaf was abit rough. Only the pork vermicelli salad was quite nice. This is ok if you crave local viet food. The decor is quite nice with fake leaves on the wall. Food: 6.5/10 Value: 6.5/10 Instagram-able: 7/10
Meeting a Friend for Dinner as they live nearby and it wasn't too far from us as well. Loved the decorations and furnishings which very modern. Staff were great and friendly. The food we order the Pho Rare Lean beef meat which was to be honest lacking the urnami flavour which I hoped it would had when it claimed the soup Broth was boiled for 8 hours it was slightly bland. The hot chilli oil does help bring the kick but without it . The King Prawn Papaya Salad was Spot on, nice and citrusy with the added crunch from the peanuts. Price for the area it was average but maybe could be more generous with the King Prawns for the salad it's £9.00 You get 3 pieces
Top Vietnamese restaurant with extremely high hygiene standards and great packaging. You can tell these people put effort to make it right to their clientele. Very friendly and professional. I am highly impressed and will visit you very soon back again.
