Our son loves going to Little Owls Day Nursery Scarning, he has been in Tawny Owls for 7 months and always has so much fun!nHe adores the staff that care for him so much.nHe has a fantastic relationship with not only his wonderful key person Beth but also Charlotte, Louisa and Susie!nHe is happy to go into nursery and likes to play with the other babies! They do so many lovely activities with them including craft, yoga, sensory play and baking!nMy little one loves to play outside in the amazing outdoor space what ever the weather!nWe always recommend the nursery to our friends and family because we know it is the best around!nThank you also to Emma, Ella, Justine and Jonny for all you do as well as a part of Stanley’s time at nursery.
Where do I start....nnLittle Owls & Hoots have been a part of our lives for a little over 9 years now, with our eldest having gone to Hoots from the age of 6, and our youngest going to Little Owls Scarning from the age of 1. I was personally a little concerned with putting our son into nursery at the age of 1, however once I met the team and more specifically his key worker Charlotte, any concerns I had were completely dismissed.nnOur son has been going for a year now and during that time we have grown closer and closer with all the staff. Johnny and Justine are two of the most genuine and lovely people you could ever hope to meet, their care and passion for what they do shines through in all their staff and everything they do. It really is like an extended family. My son loves all the staff, but particularly Charlotte his key worker, Louisa, Colette, Charlie, and Elsa.nnAll of their nurseries are immaculately kept, and no expense is spared when it comes to making sure the children have everything they need to have not just a fun filled day, but an educational one too.nnThe updates on tapestry are priceless, and enable you to see what your children have been up to that day, along with progress updates on their learning and development.nnI can’t recommend them highly enough, and this review still doesn’t do them justice, don’t take my word for it, go along and see for yourself.nnFinally a huge thank you to Johnny, Justine, Charlotte and all the team for the fantastic things you are doing during this difficult time, our son has loved all the updates, videos and activities. Whilst watching the last video from his key worker Charlotte, my son was cuddling the phone whilst calling out her name. That to me says it all.nnFantastic nursery and even better staff.
Outstanding in every way possible. My mum always said that Johnny and Justine have such a fantastic level of knowledge and care towards the children they look after, something which they have definitely passed down to the nursery staff who are all so lovely and kind. Their years of experience in childcare really shows and speaks volumes. And most importantly my children love going to nursery! They have the best days there and are so happy when I pick them up.
We have used Little Owls for the last four years, more recently the Scarning setting has been looking after my babies, and I can’t recommend them enough, staff are more like family and both our children speak warmly of all staff.nPeople often comment on how sociable both of them are and I attribute this to little owls, i leave my children happy and safe in the knowledge that they are cared for and are being provided with the building blocks to become successful when they join school.nWe love you little owls xx
Editing my review after a year, little owls are still worth the 5 stars and if I could add on another 5 they would deserve it!nThey are the best nursery in Dereham with the best staff, they always have a smile on there faces even through these tough times.nMy little girl loves going and constantly talks about going and what she’s learnt. They have taught her and me a lot!
