Great concept and the potential is big, however it felt very run down - needs a bit of money spending on it. They do have a lot of stuff for children, which is impressive in some ways but it’s all quite old and needs attention. Generally the whole place felt a bit grubby and not somewhere I’d really like my kids playing. They have a reasonable selection of animals to look at, and that was our main reason for visiting, but again conditions looked quite basic. They are clearly aiming for families, as they have a cafe and soft play, plus shop and on site parking. The coffee was better than expected - so that’s a positive. All said, my kids enjoyed it but I felt uncomfortable. I also thought it was pretty expensive for what it was and given what is being charged, I would have hoped they would invest more in the facilities to bring it up-to-date.
Great little stop whilst out on a long bike ride. Sausage roll and cake were spot on and thoroughly enjoyed the flat white. Staff were friendly and efficient and te price for all three was under a tenner which I felt was good value.nWill definitely call in again if in the area
Great place to spend a good chunk of your day at. The soft play was quite grubby in places so I hope management read this and take notice. LOADS of animals to look at and feed
Went for a child’s birthday party.nnSuch a good venue with lots for kids to do. They went round the farm feeding the animals and had free roam of both the indoor and outdoor covered soft play and sand pit. The farm provided food and decorations which made things a lot easier. All together a fab party.
Super place with plenty of variety to keep the children busy and entertained all day. Food very reasonably priced and freshly prepared.
