The crab claw tempura were absolutely delicious, really meaty with bags of flavour. We shared a portion to start, followed by traditional fish and chips for the main. The fish was very full and flaky, with a light and crispy batter. The chips were golden, crispy with nice fluffy centre and full of flavour. The staff were attentive and welcoming from the moment we entered the pretty harbour side restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, I'd certainly recommend visiting.
The best seafood I've ever had. I don't even like seafood very much and I loved all the seafood I had here. Staff was super friendly, helpful, and understanding about a guest's allergy. The cocktails were also most excellent! Highly recommended!
Intimate restaurant, huge atmosphere and incredible food. Probably one of the best meals of my life. Customer service was outstanding and waiters/waitresses always up for a chat. Really lovely experience. I hope to return many more times. Kid-friendliness: Kids were present in the restaurant and comfortable
Loved the place. It asked for reservations we didn't have one but it still accommodated us kindly. Grateful for that. Loved the prawn spring rolls. Most delicious special on the menu. Queenies were nice and the fish and chips was lovely. The ice coffee was sooo good for the summer heat.
I had the half lobster and my wife had the Queenie's starter that was turned into a main. I think she picked the better dish - but she shared a few bits. It was really good nosh. Very welcoming and well worth a visit
We had a superb meal last night, my partner had fish and chips and I had the Queenies starter but was changed to a main course. Very flexible on the waitress's part. Will definitely go back again.
Lovely little restaurant. Excellent range of meals very seafood focused which is understandable. Queenies are as good as everyone says. Highly recommended.
We came as this place is highly recommended. Ordered quennies as appetiser, nice flavour and texture, it was an enjoyable starter. However, we both order fish and chips as main, light batter but unfortunately, quite small size and very bland. I know we can season it ourselves with salt and vinegar, but a bit of seasoning in the fish/batter would be nice. I would have expected more for a £17 fish and chips…
Absolutely delicious. Must go resto when visiting the Isle of Man. Also really nice service. Go with a proper appetite. So i you can really tuck into their starters. I couldnt coz i had a protein shake just before but yeah the mains hit the spot. Definitely tasted fresh to me. My sister always brings me to this resto when im visiting the Isle of man.
Fantastic little independent restaurant... food divine... all the best local ingredients.. I had the crab fish cake special followed by the filo fish pie meal... absolutely superb... and special thanks to Judah who was a star waiter ... highly recommend if you appreciate good sea food
