Lovely afternoon tea today. The waffles were delicious. The waitress was friendly and efficient. Good service. Only slight issue was that it was a bit cold in the shop, but luckily I had a warm coat on, so it didn’t really matter.
We came in around 10pm. Ordered 2x milkshakes and a sweet bite each. The red velvet cake was literally disgusting. It was so dry, I don't think it was made within the last 48h. The texture was that of cardboard and the taste was dreadful. The cornflake tart was also underwhelming. It's a shame because the milkshakes were nice and customer service wasn't bad either.
Visited yesterday for a mid day treat, food was nice, service was pretty slow and the place looks like it needs a good tidy round if I'm honest, maybe visited on a bad day but the fixtures and fittings looked a little tired and could do with a deep clean
OMG, love this place. Food great, tea for two could easily be for three! As many refills as you want. Food is perfect, tables, floor, room very clean, great atmosphere. On a hot day it was lovely & cool still. Waitress service 5. Quick service too for a Saturday afternoon. I'm soo coming back & bringing the rest of the family. Thank you everyone. Great experience.
3 stars because the girl on the phone was polite and helpful and because the deserts are nicen-2 stars because the delivery guy needs glasses -or he ate our desserts, as he delivered our order somewhere else and had us waiting for a whole hour. 2 hours from placing the ordernSadly,don't think I will be ordering again.
