I live in an A listed Alexander Greek Thomson flat and my sash windows had strict regulations to follow. Listed Window Refurbishment took everything into consideration and did an incredibly professional job. Their craftmanship is outstanding and the team were a pleasure to work with. Don and Frank kept me up to date with progress and schedules and offered advice on finishes and fittings. They really couldn't have been more helpful. Have used listed windows for both timber sash and case at the conservation area bound front of my property and timber effect uPVC sash and case at the rear. Frank, Don and team were professional from day one, keeping me updated in a timely and professional manner. The finish on the job was excellent and I’m really happy with the transformation. Listed Window Refurbishments came out to refurbish 5 sash windows in our tenement. Everyone involved in the work was incredibly professional and did excellent quality work. The flat was left very tidy at the end of each day. The finished windows look incredible! We are especially pleased that we no longer have any drafts and the rooms are much warmer.

Found Listed Windows via a Google search and happy to say am not in the slightest bit disappointed with the service.  From the initial estimator to the last painter everyone was courteous and professional.  Job was to refurbish 3*sash windows, replace some glass, a rotted sill and re-paint.  Each of the trades were careful, kept their work area clean and demonstrated experience and skill.  Have no hesitation in recommending and I will certainly be using Listed Windows again as I refurbish from room to room.

I can't recommend Listed Window Refurbishment highly enough. From the very first communication, Frank and his team were very approachable and upfront about the process and what we could expect, including cost and approximate timelines. They acted quickly as quickly as possible with such a painstaking job of trying to save our rotten, decades-old sash windows! and took great care, with amazing attention to detail, ensuring the windows maintained their original qualities but also were kept safe, secure and looking great.  It's a long process but we are so glad we did it 'right' and chose this company as they were really great to work with and we're so pleased with the outcome!

This is a long overdue review..  I had LWR refurbish about 10 windows in my tenement and they were excellent from start to finish about 4 years ago. The work was done to a great standard and they never left a mess and always did their best to keep the inconvenience to a minimum.  More recently I had a maintenance issue and they came out and took care of it no questions asked.  I wouldn't contemplate using anyone else in future.

I wanted to replace the window in a Glasgow townhouse flat and after liaising with several companies I chose Listed Windows Refurbishment, as they seemed the most responsive and knowledgeable. They offered good advice and assisted me with the process for planning approval and listed building consent. Once I got the required approvals, the window were installed within a mutually agreed timeframe, and the complete installation took a few weeks in several stages. After working they left the flat in a reasonably tidy condition and the windows themselves look good after installation. However, the downside was that the surrounding wood panelling and walls suffered minor damage in several places. I was not advised at the beginning that the panelling and walls would not be brought back to the original conditions and this required me to pay for someone to do additional repair work to the damaged parts. This was a disappointing conclusion to what was otherwise good service. It would have been better if they highlighted up front that the surrounding areas would not be brought back to the original condition, and a suitable arrangement could have been agreed for a complete job.

The team all arrived when we expected, had a good work ethic, got on with the job and cleaned up after themselves. Pleased to have them in the house and they did a very good job.

We recently had our sash windows refurbished and cannot believe the difference it’s made! Our house, which always felt cold, even in the summer, is so much warmer and the windows look fantastic. All the guys who carried out the various parts of the job were really friendly, meticulous with their work, and made sure there was minimum disruption while the work was ongoing. We are absolutely delighted with the job and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Listed Window Refurbishment to anyone considering having their windows done. Thanks again guys!

I had 7 windows refurbished, 3 sills replaced, and a window pane replaced. The initial service provided by Listed Window Refurbishment was good and their staff were all courteous, tidy and hard working. However 9 months later I had to contact Listed Window Refurbishment because of various issues with their work that need fixing - a crack in a window sill they replaced, a weight fallen off the same window, cracked pointing on a number of windows, and paint that is already peeling. I was assured they would remedy this work "as soon as they could", but 2 and a half months later I am still chasing them to schedule the work. Extremely poor after sale service. Beware!!
