Very disappointed. After ringing 98 times i finally got through and I pressed 1 for an emergency appointment but the woman on the other end of the phone was very quick to cut me off. I said I need to be seen now with my throat and she quickly said this is for emergency only and told me she is hanging up. While I was finding it hard to breathe instead of helping me for 2 minutes she cut me of and made me ring back which took another large amount of time and they give me an appointment 2 weeks away. This is no good as I fear that with all my symptoms I could have strep and this is quite dangerous but this health centre does not seem to care. The phone line should not make you ring 98 times before getting through either. This is a disgrace! I am very unhappy!
What a disgrace for a practice.!nReceptionists are very rude and ignorant and the doctors need to look better at what the are doing and stop playing with people's lifes!nIf you can't handle the pressure of the 14000 patients that you are trying to handle from all over the county maybe you should start looking after the patients in lisnaskea and stop taking on new ones!nThe NHS are a joke but you lot aren't helping the way you are treating people!nThe receptionists really need to learn how to talk properly to people and if they can't they should be removed from there position and let someone who cares sit in there place..nYou lot have made a large mistake with my family and now you are treating us like dogs.nThere will be more over the coming days, weeks and months on this subject as I will not be letting this go until it is sorted.
I have found the dr’s and nurses to be very attentive with a kind manner to both my parents and myself. I have only had to go twice in two years but found them to be excellent, they diagnosed and prescribed me correctly and efficiently. They have also been very proactive with my parents too and I am grateful for it.nnThe only difficulty I had was when booking an appointment during Covid. I did have to work fairly hard to persuade the receptionist that I really needed the appointment at the advise of the pharmacist as my face had swelled up big time and I didn’t know why! I could barely open my eyes. Once she knew I had already been to the pharmacist and had spoken to an out of hours dr on the phone, who prescribed something that didn’t work..... she booked me an appointment which I was grateful for and the dr was able to get me sorted.nnThanks to all the team - You do a great job.
Went to collect prescription from chemist, not in. Went up to be told I would I have to wait. Went back to the chemist still not in. Went back to the doctors different receptionist , to be told that the receptionist never done it for me in the first place. She didn't even put it on computer and receptionist had to go looking for the letter from A&E. Told today or tomorrow, when I needed it today. They messed up and I have to suffer. They don't seem to care or want to be there. This is the 2nd time this has happened. They don't answer phones either. Needed to be retrained in how to answer phones and how to talk to patients. The patients that keep them in their job. Unfortunately can't change doctors.
its terrible, you never can get through on the phone and thats as past 5 years and when you eventually get through the staff are not friendly and all rush rush rush, like you can try for half a day trying to get through and fail as put the phones on engage tone and that is not acceptable, its so unprofessional as why have near 15000 patients to a handful of doctors who never stay for long and who can blame them, its madness and a serious threat to those patients lives who just cant contact the practice and so cant be seen, its really serious this and nothing been done as dont seem to care
