I was recommended by a friend to Link Design and i couldn't be happier with my fitted wardrobes. They originally gave me an estimate of when they might be fitted but fitted them earlier than expected, which was a bonus! very reasonable pricing and excellent wardrobes! we love them and they are a highly recommended company. Mel is lovely and very helpful if you have any queries, just a great company.
Amazing kitchen. We were very happy with link design kitchens from the very beginning when Andy came to measure up and design it. He listened to what we wanted and suggested other bits and together came up with a great design. We were then kept up to date regularly by the office etc. Katie in the office was great with the planning of when the workmen would come and what day. There was no messing and she ran a very tight ship. I would throughly recommend this company.
Just had my bedroom fitted can not fault Link Design. They came when they said they would had it done in the day we had a great fitted called Craig he worked really hard and the finish is perfect. I love the design and the dark wood with high cream gloss doors. Great price will be having them again to do the other rooms.
Do not go anywhere near this firm, they take you money and run. We have been waiting 6 months for a worktop to be replaced after numerous phone calls letters and emails they just promise they will come and nobody can be bothered to turn up just excuse after excuse, they do not return your calls when promised and the production manager is supposed to be dealing with it but can't be bothered to get in touch. We have been waiting for brackets for our cupboard which broke the first week The fitter was a waste of time did not turn up when he should off just get fobbed off by the firm when you ring up. We are taking legal action now do not think there gas fitters or electricians are properly qualified they are all a set of cowboys.
This company fitted two wardrobes in my home. The initial contact was very satisfactory but things quickly went downhill. I had asked them right from the start to fit my wardrobes during a certain period. They said this was possible so I paid my deposit. However, I heard nothing from them so two weeks before 'the agreed fitting period' I rang to find out exactly when they were coming. You guessed it - they werent! and this is how things carried on. Then they couldn't supply the type of wood Id chosen, and so it went on. The best bit is that they expect full payment before delivery. Which is non-negotiable - but when you find something wrong - you havent any leverage because once they have your money they are not really interested in sorting problems out. It left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. Id think very hard before you employ this company.
Completely agree with all the negative comments made here. We paid £13, 000 for a few rooms to be fitted. The staff boasted how good they were. It was scheduled, they took a deposit and then they got to work. When I say they it was one guy, who turned up mid day as apparently he had to prep the kitchen? We thought he wasn't going to turn up, but he did and we saw the progress. The there was radio silence - but payment was taken again - which was unauthorized for the full amount!! There was many half finished jobs, bits missing here and there, it was so bad that when we opened the cupboards in the bedroom they hadn't even bothered putting 'backs' on them! So my husband had to cut wood to fit all the backs and sort them. They made bodge mistakes like not cutting big enough holes for electric sockets and then the fitter refused to touch them after one of his fellow colleagues had botched it up. Again, my husband had to redo them because nobody organised a thing. My husband and I called many times hoping to speak to the ever elusive KATIE STEADMAN who in my mind needs sacking because she can't do her job for toffee! She is a coward who won't even come to the phone and gets Mel or one of the other staff members to phone people for her. SHOCKING!!!! This is meant to be a nice experience, something we have waited for for a while and now we have had to fix LINK DESIGNS mistakes. Please Please Please avoid! You would be better going to IKEA and doing it yourself and for a quarter of the price.
Wouldn't even give this company 1 star, absolutely shocking to deal with. First wardrobes fitted were that bad they were taken out straight away, second set was full of scratches and chips and even holes in the bedroom walls, still dealing with them to resolve this. The materials used were not fit for purpose and the fitters lacked the skills required. Communication is terrible and the staff in the office are very rude, would not deal with at all.
No stars! Please steer clear of this company. Having had our kitchen in stalled in the February we are still waiting for it to completed. No plinths, badly fitted units, the worst customer service I have ever experience. Taking money from bank accounts without authorisation. In the 7 months that we've been waiting not once has anyone actually called me back. Its now with my solicitor to sort things out
Never ever ever use this absolute shambles of a company. They take your money & don’t deliver the finished product without months of chasing. They just don’t turn up & lie through their teeth when you ask them when they’re going to. The lady you deal with in the showroom should be ashamed of herself...never known service like it...she won’t even speak to you when you phone or gets the other people to lie to you, she’s either on her lunch, sick or on the school run when you phone. My mum is 80 & I have just had her on the phone in floods of tears because of this company. The third day she’s had in waiting for furniture to arrive that still hasn’t arrived! Poor mum had been lied to on several occasions....disgusting! This company should not be trading. Do not go near them as your job will never be finished & they will take the payment from you upfront...scandalous!
BE AWARE OF THIS SCANDALOUS COMPANY: ordered fitted wardrobe for two rooms , they made us feel like were in safe hand and took payment in front, the they started cheating with us with Not turning up on time as promised, them they send us a cowboy to start work after chasing up for so long.. the lady who were dealing with us so called KATY should be ashamed of her self. However after finishing a job which was not actually finished properly left bits and bobs everywhere. And two mirrors from dressing wardrobes fell down on after another when we call them to complain that liar lady katie said that her boss passed away and company closing so they won’t rectify and that’s it. ??? I will make sure if the company keeps trading I will do my best to get justice they going to trading standards! Please don’t make a mistake by calling them at first place.
