Terrific local garden store, much prefer this to the national chains. Good prices and great service. The dishwasher salt is remarkably cheap and they have a range of quality sheds. The chap in charge could not be more helpful. Excellent place.
Visit on 11/0620 and what has happended to the quality of service which was once good even if the prices were high? Usually on a Thursday there is a very helpful lady on duty but not today. The one and only ? staff member was on the phone when I arrived which may explain why there was no welcome greeting. I found what I wanted and went to pay. No offer of a helping hand with the 25kg weight! No smile, little communciation I am known in the store except "Do you want a receipt" not "would you like"? The store was not tidy. The bag of fertiliser was 'greasy' with green slime which subsequently took some removing from hands and clothes. A huge staff training need now exists and the owner based in London is understood? needs to get a grip. Covid-19 precautions are in place but, even so, if one is open for business, one should ensure the usual high standards are mainatained. So now, still pricey but bad service.
Small gardening and hardware shop on the Martlesham Heath trade estate. Good range of items including tools, sheds, fertilizers etc. Good for salt blocks or tablets too if you have a water softener. Great smell of garden fertilizers and creosote when you enter the shop, like a garden store should smell!
Local and very tidy store with just the right stuff we need for gardening. They also sell salt blocks for water softener and is cheapest in the town. The staff are helpful and offer proper advise.
This is the best-stocked garden centre in Ipswich with staff who really know their stuff. It has a wide range of greenhouses, sheds and summerhouses. As far as I can see, it is the only shop in the area with an in-house installation service for greenhouses and summerhouses.

I go here mainly to buy water softener salt. They have a reasonable range of garden supplies and equipment.
Great little place for gardening bits. The gentleman the runs/owns is very helpful, the other staff could be a little politer.
A proper garden store without all the rubbish the other local used to be garden centres have.Lost a star though due to no onion, garlic or shallots sets
Knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices along with a great selection of gardening requirements
