Hello, I am writing regarding the treatmenr of your staff. My husband was employed by the company but was unfairly dismissed. There were no tangible reasons as to why this happened. Even though he had not yet completed his probation period, he was not given any notice or feedback on what it was he did wrong.

I would imagine a reputable company like Lindum would take pride in recruiting and training their staff instead of 'setting them up to fail'.

I know the law does not really take into consideration dismissal during probation but it is unfair to have a review with an employee, reassure them that they are doing well and then dismiss them with no prior warning and explanation, all in the space of 2 weeks.

Why would you, Lindum, go out of your way to set up such a rigorous interview process, hire an employee you feel is right for the job and then cut them off without prior warning and after commending them on how well they've done.

I just wish your policies were fair.

Been poorly treated whilst working there and worked hard and sacked me on the last Friday before Christmas 2016 because I can't work ever Saturday because I have a young family . i had Brilliant customer feedback and good standard of work , lads are great to work with manual workers. But management needs better attention and they never listen to peoples lifes and commitments use people to be honest. There was NO miss understanding at the interview stage I was asked if wanted to work over 48 hours a week signed it but wasn't under the impression it was every Saturday working I do have a family and life aswell. Plus only 3 lads work every Saturday constantly and the rest aren't able most the time I was told by managers . Managers told me   #ie (Darrel Garner and Nick Hammond) #  they dont need another worker that doesn't want to work Saturday's so that was the reason . Which I thought was ruthless. I'd not work for them again worked hard as well for the money. Now im on my way to job role progression made some of the best choices in life for myself and glad they used me because i did them aswell alot an awful lot . Im Working for a reputable company now and doing well we have management that talk sense and are respectful towards the tradesmen and don't talk or act smart towards the men or arrogant like . However I Appreciate the chairman ringing me concerned but it was only half the story all the best to lindums in the future

very inconsiderate workers, we was told no work vehicles would be parked in the close (tiny close of 4 houses) people have parked on the close from day 1 including completely blocking off the foot path right next door to a family with young children 1 of which is in a pushchair (i have photographic evidence of this), on weds 17/5/17 they started laying the footings before 7 am and was so loud in doing so at such an early time it sent our disabled child in to an epileptic fit (should we ever need an ambulance for him and the street is blocked we will hold you 100% responsible for any health complications), i did send an e-mail about the extreme early hours noise but they seem to of declined to reply to it, this company does not seem bothered about peoples quality of life and how they intrude on them, just driven by profits.

We have had a group of workers doing work outside all our bungalows for 5 weeks and I can honestly say they are the best ever workers a big CREDIT to LINDUM   a big thank you to ROY // RYAN // MURPHY // PETE // DARREN  Thanks Malc Sue & Meg
