I've been to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Center many times, and always fined it a warming, welcoming And very humbling place. The team there have done a wonderful job restoring the Lancaster Bomber just Jane. For my fifth Birthday my wife & son payed for me to have a taxi ride. What a privilege to be able to do so. It's well worth the time and effort to visit you will probably not be able to get so near a working Lancaster any where else, while the engines a running.

This is the Ultimate day out for solo visitors or families. The Lancaster is in memory of a brother who was killed during the second world war, the remaining two brothers sought a lasting memorial which was realised with this centre; a fitting tribute. This aerodrome is a nugget from WWII. Everyone should visit here at least once. The place is awe inspiring. A job well done fellas!. My personal score is 10/10.

I love this place. I have a fascination for military aircraft (Top Gun is still my favourite film). I was last here in November 2008 and have been meaning to go back, so when the opportunity arose i grabbed it. Very easy to let your imagination go back to war time with all the information and mannequins and Aircraft at the centre, well worth a morning or afternoon visit.

Add this place to your must visit list, you won't be disappointed. My wife and i had a marvellous time here, there is so much to see and learn, reading 1st hand accounts of the men and women who served in bomber command, there unimaginable courage and bravery throughout the war. Star of the show is "Just Jane" hopefully one day will be back in the sky. And must mention Great food and drink plus very friendly helpful staff.
