Would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for the rude man who worked for Lincoln train station (train driver). Simply asked if the train I was boarding was going to the place i wanted to go to as I couldn’t hear through the speaker properly due to a train engine running and trains entering the station, he rudely replied saying he didn’t hear me as he wasn’t listening and when asking someone something I need to approach people politely by saying ‘excuse me’ yet I had started off saying ‘sorry, excuse me’ then proceeded with my question. His tone of voice and attitude was appalling. Maybe he should get there ears tested and/or polish up on there customer service skills. Disappointed as have never had an issue with Lincoln’s staff before!

It's a all right station which has nice staff, free loos and vending machines Don't get loads of trains tho About 2 minutes away from the bus station

Very disappointing experience. Tried to collect tickets for our journey 15mins before travel. There’s only 3 ticket machines so already there’s a sizeable queue, and one of the ticket machine breakdown. Which is entirely understandable. But what I don’t understand is why the ticket office manned by two people are unable to process ticket collections which happens in a other stations I have been through. As a result there was no one at the ticket office whilst there were three long queues of people clock watching to see if they’d be able to collect their tickets in time for their train. Not an efficient system at all

OK station. Area is being refurbished to create a transport hub. Update: transport hub now operational. Jan 2018.
