Welcome to Lillian May. The property is a warm and friendly, spacious Victorian Villa conveniently positioned in Newport on Tay, near St Andrews, Fife.
Lillian May is finished to a high standard, your room is bright and spacious complete with king size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets; (there is room for an extra two single beds on request). Your large private bathroom is across the hall with jacuzzi bath and steam room shower, providing with toiletries and cotton Egyptian towels.
Your room has a coffee and toast making facilities a complimentary breakfast is a light continental supplied to your room, serving a selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice, yogurts and fresh fruit, cereals/porridge/fruit breads all to enjoy at your leisure or a complimentary healthy cooked breakfast using Scottish local produce bacon, eggs, smoked salmon and home-made pancakes or you can choose the variety of local restaurants.
We supply hair dryer, books, maps of the area, recommended golf courses to play, board games and internet access with a dressing table which can be used as a desk for your laptop. Secure lock for bikes or golf clubs.
Scotland is spoilt for choice with heritage, beauty and golf courses. We would be delighted to recommend many beautiful places to visit or play golf, booking tee times. Lillian May also offers airport transfers and personal tours whether it is golfing, ancestry, historical or a mixture of just relaxing soaking up the beauty of the scenic journeys you have personally chosen. I offer complimentary transportation to and from Dundee airport/bus/train stations. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen airport/train/bus stations at a flat fee per car load. Or there is a regular bus route 150 yards away having access to routes all-over Scotland from Dundee and St Andrews.
We are only 10 miles from St Andrews the Home of Golf and an hour and half from Aberdeen, Glasgow and an hour from Edinburgh our capital city of Scotland, an hour from the beautiful Scottish Highlands. This is a great base for a business trip, couples, individuals, families playing golf with the vast selection of Inland and Links Championship Golf Courses (I have mens Taylor Made and ladies Ping Golf Clubs for hire) or touring the Scottish Highlands, Climbing Munroes, Canoeing, Sailing, Skiing, Beaches, visiting Castles/Palaces, Distilleries, Antique Centres, Art Galleries, Botanical Gardens, Cashmere outlets and Horse Riding.
I include tours to Edinburgh Castle, Glamis Castle, Falkland Palace and Gardens, Stirling Castle and Wallace Monument, Distilleries, Royal Botanical Gardens and Rosslyn Chapel in Edinburgh and many more…. If you are a cyclist, I have a bike rack to transport 2 bikes and can drop and pick up. If you would like to walk "The Highland Way" I can drop and pick up. If you just want to relax we can go for a “wee run” in the car into the Highlands where you can soak up all its beauty. You may just want to relax with a Spa 3 miles away in The City of Dundee, where there is a variety of fabulous restaurants and cocktail bars to choose from.
We are a friendly bunch here and would be delighted to advise and help you in anyway we can with a vast knowledge of the area. I am an ex club Champion of St Andrews Ladies Golf Club and have played nearly every golf course in Scotland and can organize a tour of courses you can play. I can advise which Castles/Distilleries/Lochs would be worth visiting and look forward to helping you enjoy your stay in beautiful Scotland, welcoming tourists worldwide.
