Pretty area. Lovely grounds and old yew trees. Fascinating abbey ruins. Would imagine its a lovely place for a picnic in the Summer?
Beautiful and serene. Worth a visit if you love architecture and history. No toilets are in site though so plan ahead.
Lovely set of old ruins with some very ornate stonework remaining. There is limited parking and the track/Road down to the entrance is shared with a working farm so it can get muddy.
I love abbeys so this review may be biased. Really ambient setting, some great little spaces to investigate. The graffiti from the 1700 and 1800's is intriguing too. I will definitely spend more time here now I live in the local area.
Beautiful place to visit been visiting since I was a child
The car parking is not great, but luckily I was on my bike. The remains of the Abbey are very impressive, and the grounds are tranquil and very pleasant. Great place to picnic with kids.
Steeped in. history fascinating building well worth a visit
Peaceful and Beautiful. There is more of it than you think too. Quite a big Abbey with some rooms still in tact. Worth a look for sure.
