From the booking through to the day it’s been very easy to book and the communication between me and lightwoods have been great. The gardens are magical and really beautiful . I and all our guests had a memorable beautiful day I would definitely recommend the marquee was stunning. Very low key with lots of families around. The Shakespeare Garden is whimsical, yet calming. Nice place to walk. Playground: Nicely sized playground with an adjacent skate park. Dog-friendliness: Lots of doggies around, yet they're well controlled.
Beautifully kept park, first time visiting for a Digbeth Dining Club event. Didn't visit the house but plenty to keep us busy, nice modern play area and clean and tidy grounds explore. Parking might be difficult, we parked near the house and found many cars had received a parking fine when we returned to our car to leave.
the park itself is well maintained & large enough to enjoy a healthy walk or simply to relax plus an area for children to play . lights wood house itself is a very pleasant feature just on the edge of the park itself .
Lovely park with good parking on nearby roads. Has a good playground for kids, with a huge climbing frame and recently added new apparatuses. Park is generally clean and not misused like other neighbouring parks. Skateboarding area is unique to the park and it is of a very good size. Adequate paths to go for a long walk or jog. Playground: Generally a very clean playground. Dog-friendliness: Usually many dog walkers using a leash. Picnic area: Multiple areas to sit and eat within the park.

We had our wedding here 04/05/24. The staff are amazing and could not do enough to help us and give us the perfect day. The long room when set up for a wedding is beautiful. The marquee and garden is also beautiful and really good for photos. I can't recommend lightwoods enough.
The kids had a lot of fun. I wish if there were more games in the place for the kids, but 100% Recommended
This park appears to be one of Sandwell's "flagship" parks and as such has had quite a bit of money spent on it in the last few years. The house and surrounding amenities have been renovated and look great. There have also been several nice climbing frames added for older children and the smaller area for youngsters seems well used. In addition to the skatepark there is a path all around the park which is great for walking on while throwing the ball for the dog. Nice park given its location right by the busy hagley road.
