As another reviewer said, a tortuous experience from start to finish. You will only deal with an administrator, not a conveyancer or solicitor. They aren't able to put together a simple list of what's required, and keep coming back like Colombo for 'just one more thing'. In trying to sort out a loan which was for international transfer, I lost about $50k in exchange rates while they stuffed about for months. Under no circumstances would I recommend this firm. Do not use them.
Jem has been incredible - yet again helping us with purchase of our second home. She has kept in constant communication with us and has been available to help when we’ve needed it. I couldn’t recommed Jem any more. Thank you so much for everything Jem

We would highly recommend Lightfoots! The process to buy our house was extremely challenging but both Sameera and Karla were brilliant throughout and without them it probably would not have happened on time. They were super professional, efficient and went far and beyond.
When renting we struggled with serious damp issues; the bath and shower had not been sealed, we had mushrooms growing in our flat and we had to throw away some of our posessions which were ruined by mould. Yet we were told that we had no damp issues. Unfortunately, when problems arose, the workman sent by the Landlord did not, in our view, complete the work to any sort of standard and also failed to clear up after himself. While Lightfoots were good in contacting the landlord initially they were very poor in terms of follow-up communication when work hadn't been completed or we were still struggling with the same concerns. We regularly had no definitive response to our emails and as a result multiple problems simply never got fixed.
Superb. I dealt with Karla and Sameera in the purchase of my house. Honestly? Both went the extra mile and made it easy to accomplish. Any difficulties that I has were caused by the insane government regulations for proving that the money you have in your accounts is actually yours. That isn't their fault. Those are just the rules. Would I recommend them? Totally. I am now selling my flat and I will use them again. Plus I will get them to sort out my revised will also. Top quality.
