Loved our wee visit up to Peterhead this weekend. The site is Beautiful and well maintained. Greeted by Rhona who was very helpful showed us around made sure we pitched up ok and was enjoying our stay. Neighbours were really nice also mucked in to help me park my van which is always a struggle being a female will definitely be back!
Stayed in the new beachcomber property on this site. Great location, so quiet. On the doorstep of Peterhead but peaceful, able to watch boats at the harbour. Aldi about 10 minutes away, prison museum about 12 minutes away, coastal pathway on the doorstep.nBuses running to Aberdeen and Fraserburgh at the top of the park.nnThe property was brand new and was great, the covered outdoor area was amazing to watch the world go by but stay dry. The lodge was great, stayed in the bedroom downstairs, liked the sliding doors.nGreat mirrors and clever designs such as the table in the kitchen/sofa area that converted into a dining room with cubed seats.nSpacious shower and the kitchen had everything you needed, even a dishwasher.nThe only thing that was frustrating was the lack of space to get changed and ready for the day.nnRecommend the holiday park, the park warden Rhoda was so helpful and friendly. Give us advice for walks, just a lovely individual who seemed to work so hard on the park.nTruly an asset to the park.nnWould definitely return again.
Had an amazing stay this week in the new Beachcomber Lodge at Peterhead Marina Bay Holiday Park.nThe lodge is stunning and has been finished to a very high standard. It has everything you could need including an air fryer, gas oven and hob, 2 tv’s, dining table, dressing table, loads of storage and a beautiful bathroom.nSleeping 4 with 1 double bedroom and 1 loft double bed it’s perfect for a family. The balcony has outdoor seating and looks over the water.nHighly recommend it!
Site is next to a safe sandy beach, with an easy walk into Peterhead on a flat path. Big play area for children, clean toilets and showers, although water could have been a bit warmer! And although old, did the job. Very friendly, helpful staff.nBoy racers in the big car park above the site was a bit of a nuisance with their cars backfiring until after 11pm! Not the sites fault though!nWalking distance to Aldi and Peterhead Prison museum.
Arrived at 6pm, walked early morning, 2 local dogs walking by - my dog responded, my partner went to ask for assistance after as tv was not working and he was asked to leave the site, due to a woman who complained regarding my dog, I have subsequently requested the directors details which was declined by the warden. I would advise that you do not book at this location if you have a dog. I will up load dog friendly camp sites in the locality.
