Pretty standard Lidl store. Bakery is my personal highlight but they have all the usual stuff. Good meats, cheeses, etc. Ample parking with a few parent and baby spaces. Quite a busy re during rush hours so bear that in mind.
Did my usual stocking up of fizzy water: I really hate shopping, so buy this item in bulk so that I don't have to keep doing it. After putting it all in the shopping trolley and queuing up behind a lady who seemed to be buying the whole store, I was then told that they have a 12 item policy and I couldn't buy so many. I was so shocked that I just left it. So ... Where are the signs? Why hasn't that happened before? Still smarting from this experience of being villified.
I like specific brands and you can't get them in-store...
Lidl is cheaper than Tesco, Morrison or Sainsbury's. Part of making them cheaper is the lack of choices and staff on the tills but this should not deter you from going as I feel they offer good value for money. Their fruit and vegetables stay fresher and last a lot longer than the other supermarkets. Always good value Great shopping experience. #cheaperthanTesco
Best jam doughnuts of any bakery, when you can get them. Too often none in stock at
good food. imo better than you know who. lol .but imo you know who, does better drink . also midl of lidl .. better .. imo of course.: this store is very pleasant.. err imo .... I prefer the placement of drinks at other place .. ie back of store where you can graze in relative peace as opposed to being in the lane for the final 50 m sprint to the checkouts..
It has air conditioning . Got some bits that my regular supermarket doesn't stock & spent less than I thought it would come to. Not a great pet selection but I was only there for a change. Couldn't shop there full time but it made a pleasant change
Lots of lovely products at very reasonable prices,nice and clean too.
Looking for Xmas goodies, marzipan bars, stollen etc. You have to get in early.
Great shop but today not alot available but still good prices on what is available
