LIDL IN TREDEGAR GWENT Nice friendly, helpful staff who seem to work above and beyond their duties. These staff members should be on twice as much money for what they do. Head office certainly gets blood out of a stone. I do not know how these staff members cope with the amount of work they do on each shift. Seems unfair. I've shopped in here regularly for the past nine years and see a lot of different managers on shift. I'm not sure if this is a swap thing lidl does to break up the boredom. A lot of new staff as well and only a couple of the original staff remain. A lot have left and either moved to different stores or careers. Lidl has changed a lot at this store over the years as well as the lidl franchise. Lidl has come a long way from its beginnings. I was offered a security job here years ago by the female manager, but she left about 5 years ago. I built up a good customer relationship here with the staff and management back then as of being one of the most regular customers to shop here. But now, more or less every member of staff and management I got to know over the years has left, moved on to new horizons, but now it's all changed here. Still nice place to shop for essentials, but the atmosphere is different in this store now. Lidl has changed a lot over the years from when I used to do security for them years ago. I guess things change over time.
Always well stocked apart from there is always a short supply of soft drinks there every time I visit and you're lucky to get the ones they have
Good stores, but you know, you cannot just pop in and out for something, because you always have a long wait at the tills..
Big clean Lidl. Looks new. Toilets inside. Plenty of products for great deals. Loads of baskets and trolleys. Lidl plus card accepted. Free parking

It's a Lidl you get what you expect.
I visited early evening and the car park was 10% full. They had what I wanted, a few basics. There was only one till open but it moved quickly as most people were doing the same thing. Service was very good.
