Not my usual Lidl I visit as out of the area. Carpark was smaller than I'm used to and only 3 disabled parking bays. Shop itself was clean and tidy,Store manager was friendly and helpful when I asked for a product as the shelf was empty.He checked the warehouse part as they'd had 2 deliveries today but didn't have what I needed. Only 2 checkouts were manned and queues were long. But overall a nice store but doubt I'd visit again when in the area.
Bought some pillow protectors today. Thought they felt heavy so must be good material. When I got home some of my shopping was wet. The bag containing the protectors was just full of water, absolutely soaking wet. Had to wash them. Obviously that's why they felt heavy. Tried to ring them, no one answered. Wasn't going to complain just wanted to let them know so they could check the rest.
Great shop found pann lid. I'm so excited 2 weeks ago we bought a cherry tree and this time I want to buy a plum tree but already is sold out!!!
Okay, a Lidl is a Lidl and to be fair this is no different in terms of layout, stock availability and cleanliness from any other. However this review is reserved solely for the Mexborough Branch.nThe one star is solely reserved for the Saturday checkout staff. Unfortunately, unbadged so individuals carnt be identified and I feel this is purposeful. They are two of the rudest individuals one female, one male with ink I have ever been served by on multiple occasions so not just a bad day. They can complete a full transaction with one word, being 'reciept?'. It takes a special kind of training to be that ignorant and care less. It's just bad service to the public and your colleagues who probably do give a damn.
