Reviews

Lidl competes on a combination of quality and price so when you can find what you want they are great value. Sadly they have a well deserved reputation for being out of stock of anything but the absolute basics and queues are sometimes dauntingly long at the checkout. There are few if any products for those on special diets and there will usually be a couple of items off your shopping list they don't have but if you can be flexible on your requirements or have the time to go elsewhere to complete your shopping this is a great way to save money without compromising too much on quality.

Not enough checkouts. It's cheap and cheerful. None of their cleaning products or hand cream have leaping bunny so steer clear if you believe in cruelty free produts

Helpful staff. Cheap priced frozen, packaged, canned food and good selection of fresh meats, fruits, vegetables and dairy. Lack for available staff/open tills and store layout equates for four stars.

It could be more tidy but it's a very busy business, and people are messy. The bakery and the continental cold meats are my favourite sections. The tills are always terribly busy, even self service has long queues. Their own brand is very cheap and the quality of the cleaning products is very good. Something they need improve is the staff friendliness, they're quite grumpy.

Lidls is a place you just want to spend more than you thought you would because they make things you would like cheaper and affordable.
