Supermarket in Central Penicuik selling a good range of goods at a value for money price.nIn addition to the regular groceries, there are also themed weeks providing  some favourite groceries from a cross the globe and some less well known items, but worth a try.nThe middle aisles offer a range of DIY tools made by Parkside, which are good quality and well priced as well as a range of household goods and some clothes.nFurther offers and discounts available by joining the Lidl Plus system.nStaff very pleasant and helpful.nCar parking available but time limited.

Best value shop in Penicuik. Has everything you need but cheaper. If you aren't fussed about brands then this is the perfect shop for you.

I'm in store several times a week. My gripe is not with any of the products, and least of all the colleagues, but why oh why is there only one till open with a queue of 6 or 7 people ? It's not just my local store, but every store I've visited.

Great place, very good prices. Just wish the people at the tills would slow down. Stuff goes flying through. Great protein packed foods. Ready meals at 85p!

Usual great shopping experience and reasonable prices too
