Good parking, on site bakery is excellent, good variety at fair prices, staff friendly but maybe could do with more of them !!!

Hard to review a supermarket as there is common knowledge and expectation. Middlewich Lidl is no different to the hundreds of others around the country. This is one of their smaller branches. A mix of grocery and hardware, including the usual clothes, tools, toys and small kitchen appliances. Fresh and canned goods are available and there is a modest in store bakery. Parking is usually available although at peak times, most of Saturday,  it can be a struggle. Well run and friendly staff. No complaints.

Great Lidl with some really great staff, this Lidl seems to be a bit better than some others although the general parking in the car park is awful! People just park where they feel like! If your driving a bigger car you can often find it hard to get out of some bays as people park behind you and not always as it's really busy often loads of other empty actual parking spaces.nNo self service checkouts.nnSadly no self service tills in the store.nGreat little Lidl

The women at the till was nice enough but other staff members including the one who seemed like the shift manager were rude. I went in to the store at 3:50 today Sunday 3rd March, while I understand the store closes at 4 and they want you out by or before 4 the staff were rude. I was trying to shop for a few bits and within 2 minutes of being in the store they took turns to shout to make your way to the till, then they were going down the aisles speaking to me directly in an aggressive manner telling me the store is closed I need to go to the till. I’d forgotten to get a six pack of pop and quickly went to grab some only for a man on shift to rudely tell me the shop was closed and I needed to turn around. There was a queue at the till anyways. What baffles me the most is they get paid to work until the jobs done so if they finish 15 minutes late they get paid for those 15 minutes so you’d think they show a bit more customer service rather then trying to rush you in and out the door.

Love our local Lidl, great produce & prices in clean store. Manager needs to make car park one way entry as previous as can be dangerous. Sadly that will not stop idiots parking all over the place. Could also make till staff bit friendlier, very grumpy.
