Despite huge over-fridge banners showing the Union flag, enthusing the Red Tractor certified British lamb, not a single joint, portion, cut or product was available! Instead shelves of New Zealand lamb! Really, Lidl, at this time of year? We produce some of the best lamb in the world and you offer us products which have travelled half way round that world?nSadly, I had to write a similar review for Wigston, Leicester, the other day.nCome on Lidl, you are better than this!!
For a wheelchair or mobility scooter user, the aisles are narrow, often tightly packed and obstructed and difficult to manoeuvre. The products are a great price, reasonable quality you get what you pay for but if you have mobility issues I'd say best avoided on a busy day, Thursdays especially when they have all the cages out and people running for deals.
Murky lighting, cramped narrow aisles, dirty old flooring, merchandise randomly moved about so you never know where to look, and a guaranteed wait at the checkout whatever time of day. Bakery items are nice but the area always looks like it's been on the receiving end of a tornado, along with the rest of the store. Aldi up the road is more spacious, lighter, newer, better merchandised and sells similar produce with as cheap prices. I'll stick to shopping there.

This store is so badly run that every aisle is littered with stock that the staff either can't be bothered put away or they don't get time. I find myself either moving their stock out of the way so my elderly mother can pass. Only yesterday Friday 18/10/2019 a stack of empty of boxes fell on my mother, I did think about complaining but there just doesn't seem anyone around to speak to. Lately I have found that the local supermarket prices are better than this store, so we properly won't be shopping here again.
