I was accused of stealing today because after browsing the shop i decided not to buy anything and made my way through the exit, saying excuse me to the customers who had queued to pass them to be able to exit, to only be stopped by a security guard, asking me to check my bags!! I opened up the handle and he could see that i had not taken anything but he decided to ask me to empty my bag and i refused and told him why have you stopped me and his reply was because i skipped the queue to exit and i said i have not brought anything hence not queueing!! and told him stop being disrespectful and for him to go and check with security cameras… Complete embarrassment and i will never shop there. To be stopped for no reason in front of other customers is not right!!
The staff is rude.nI feel sorry for their miserable faces and life.nnLeave the job if you doesn’t like it. Lidl need more trained staff.
The groceries to household goods at competitive price. It place goods in well organized refrigerator create a sense o cleanliness and freshness for shopper.
Accused of stealing because I used the toilet before attempting to leave to get a trolley. Second of 2 bad experiences in 2 visits, after I was forced to hold up the queue at the tills to get a battery for a cordless drill which turned out to be out of stock. Fed up of being treated with contempt as a customer here. Never again.
We usually shop at the Oldbrook branch, but as this is demolished and a new shop built, we have been using the Bletchley branch, we are not impressed with the way this shop is run. Large queues at the checkout, stock not priced, bakery almost empty at lunchtime. Couldn't return my trolley as the chains were missing and parked in a jumble by people who had the same problem.nStaff don't generally appear to be happy or willing to be helpful as they were at Oldbrook.
