Handy local Lidl store has lots of products available. The store prices are reasonable and sometimes are cheapest compared to other stores their competitors. Getting around the store to collect all products needed to put in the basket/trolley are easy due to the simple layout. There is 1 hour of free parking available. To have put all required items in the basket does not take time, however, due to the queues for the checkout getting massive that adds to shopping time overall.nnFeedback: My feedback for the owners of the shop is if they could add self-service tills along side the usual tills which would help everyone complete their shopping faster instead of waiting in line for a while.
Handy local Lidl store , friendly staff and service , sadly lack of a few basic items like decaffeinated filter coffee , Lasagna white sauce in jars , and capers , shame no sour dough either very odd .nLook forward to the new bigger store when it opens .
Often out of stock on the most popular items. Like other people have mentioned on here no self checkout tills which I really don't understand in this day and age. So allow yourself an extra 20 minutes to wait in line and be served at the tills when you visit.
Very disappointing on the vegan and vegetarian selections. Just because the town centre shop doesn’t bother doesn’t mean the new large store at Lyons Farm can ignore the need to cater for everyone. Worthing isn’t the backwater it used to be.
The queues are moving very slowly; I noticed that usually only one till operates at a time. No self-checkout points; seriously, though, if you had them, you'd significantly reduce your queues and people wouldn't have to worry about them being able to park for only one hour, which is also a stupid restriction rule. Most shops give you at least 2 hours for parking, sometimes more. It's a good thing the shop is only within a walking distance from where I live. The only thing that's probably good about Lidl is that you have interesting imported food/drinks + Polish/French/Spanish week etc. Otherwise, in 95% cases, I prefer driving to Aldi in Rustington as I know I can definitely finish my shopping on time and not be delayed by a company's reduced staff and lack of resources required to do the job effectively.
