If you want to take your trolley to the Lidl in Alperton, get ready to leave them at the store entrance because they do not let them inside. Today there was around 10 trolleys next to the tillsnnI have been a Lidl customer in multiple stores in West London Sheperd’s Bush, Hammersmith, East Acton, Acton, West Ealing always with my trolley and today was the first time I was not allowed to take the trolley inside.
They have good items here you can find for cheap the main issue is they need more staff. I always come in to buy 2 or 3 items and have to wait in a 20 minute line to buy them whether it’s at the self checkout or the till because normally there is only 1 till open. Also parking is a big problem it’s better to walk here.
Finally a good Lidl store in the area.nThe Wembley Park store is way too small for the customers it’s got now, a nightmare to shop in.nThis one is much bigger with very spacious aisles. The self checkout area is also nice and large.nSo far it all very clean, be nice if the staff could maintain it like that but I’m not expecting that. In this day and age every retail store is way understaffed to be able to keep stores neat and tidy which is a shame.nStill, I didn’t expect this store to be this big so that’s a plus.nNever going back to the Wembley Park store again. Happy days.nNote, I wouldn’t drive to this store though, very very limited spaces with more than half I think taken by electric chargers and disabled bays.
My local branch and I shop here all the time. Generally clean and well supplied with stock. Some members of staff could be more professional and kind when asked for help.
Surprisingly I do like this store and I find myself shopping here often. Mostly for fruits and vegetables and sometimes their freshly baked items. Staff are helpful however I’m not keen when I have to leave my trolley outside. I’m always worried if someone accidentally picked up my trolly. I love my IKEA trolly Fruity Fresh don’t allow trollies either and I only shop there out of desperation Thank you
