Disappointed with Customer Service at Lidl BoltonnnI have had two bad experiences at Lidl in Bolton, and I’m really disappointed. I shop there every week for groceries, but the way some of the staff treated me was unacceptable. Unfortunately, I experienced rude and disrespectful behavior at the till.nnAs a non-British customer, I felt I was treated unfairly. On one occasion, I accidentally touched a staff member’s finger while taking my groceries, and instead of understanding, she reacted aggressively and refused to serve me. A supervisor had to step in to complete my purchase.nnEveryone deserves respect and fair treatment, regardless of background. I hope Lidl takes action to improve their customer service.
Lidl is an excellent choice for budget-conscious shoppers looking for quality groceries at great prices. Their store layout is simple and efficient, making it easy to navigate through the aisles. The variety of products is impressive, from fresh produce to pantry staples, as well as unique seasonal items that are always a pleasant surprise.nnThe quality of the store-brand products is consistently good, and there are often great deals on big-name brands as well. However, the store can get crowded during peak hours, and some locations are a bit cramped, which can make the shopping experience less enjoyable.nnCustomer service is generally friendly, though it’s not always as hands-on as in larger supermarkets. Overall, Lidl provides excellent value for money and is a top pick for those who prioritize cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
Affordable and quality products.. loved the grocery shopping there.. staff is nice and cooperative too..
I’m only giving it four stars because I didn’t find anything I wanted to buy here on my last visit and left empty handed.nThis is a tidy, large Lidl store. It’s a bit gloomy inside but it has all the standard Lidl attractions.nThe fresh produce looked a little tired on the day I visited, but this was after I’d been to the nearby Sainsbury’s and Aldi and said the same thing.nThe store is easy to miss as it is down a slope, off the main road, not far from the University of Bolton campus. It deserves to be more popular though.
Smaller,older Lidl store, useful for quick in / out in passing, but seems to carry the full range of Lidl goods.nLarge carpark with generous spaces into which larger cars fit easily.nBeggars at the entrance door are off-putting....... Although not aggressive they are very close to the entry door.nStore is periodically hectically busy with large families milling about.
