Visited the Mold store this morning to take advantage of the 50% sale. Silver crest 2 in 1 cordless vac cleaner adverised for £32,49p. None of these appeared to be availablenhowever there were Bedldray cordless cleaner . Thinking these were a substitute I put one in my trolley. I was charged £59.99p for this item which I queried. I was told that this was half the original price?? I rejected the item. On arriving home I checked the price of the Beldray to find they were selling at £64.99p !! The item should have cost approx.£130ioriginally to be discounted to the price that I was charged. Disappointed !!
Great store, decent prices.nThey really do need to sort the problem of people using the parent/child spaces without any children, though.
Nice store, tidy and well stocked. Staff very friendly and helpful.
I find Lidl is a cut above Aldi for quality, but the prices are higher too. This is the place I go for special wine to have at Christmas. They also have a spectacular range of cured meats, sausages and ham from Germany and Poland: a better range than Tesco and at very low prices. I find the fruit and veg section is better than Aldi with a bigger range. Key items for me like chillies and garlic are much better quality. But, like Aldi, they are not good for when my vegan son comes to visit. Then I need to go to Tesco.
