Lidl is honestly one of the best supermarkets in Europe. For the price you pay, the quality is surprisingly high — in some cases even better than the big-name brands, but at a much more reasonable cost. One tip I’d give other shoppers is to look for products with the Rainforest Alliance label. Everything I’ve bought with that mark has been great quality and really tasty, and Lidl thankfully stocks a lot of these items.nnThe Rainforest Alliance certification basically means the product comes from farms that follow better environmental and social standards — things like protecting forests, supporting fairer working conditions, and promoting sustainable farming. It’s a small logo, but it makes a big difference.nnOverall, Lidl is reliable, affordable, and full of good finds.
Not the best of stores, I only come in for the bakery, today I was disserpointed. The stor was under stocked, dirty, and no staff to e seen on the floor.nnThe security guard did not have his sia badge on display, and was more interested in playing with his phone then guarding the store, I myself saw a couple of lifters there but hay tip class security is on shift. Being trained myself I would never present myself like that.
A lidl in a shopping centre. No manned tills, just self service. Not sure if it's always like that.nnThe queue moved quickly.nnThe store was tidy and the shelves were full.nnOn a subsequent visit I found manned tills were in use!
Just love the food here. The bakery is my favourite good value for money and so good options. Overall, the food quality is so much better, price and size of what you're buying.nI added opening times in the 2nd picture.
