I have never had a bad experience walking into this store and have been shopping here for the last 3 years but never in my life would I thought I would have been spoken to the way I was spoken to today by the deputy store manager, Laurence was extremely rude when I approached his till not realising he was getting ready to close his till, I politely asked if I could put my 1 item through as the other tills were backed up and was greeted with the words ‘go elsewhere’ shocked at the example that was set for other staff members and these words could have been misinterpreted as something far worse. I asked him to repeat himself and again I had ‘go to another till’ which I did and left the situation. Following completion of the transaction the one member of staff who saw everything denied he had been rude at all and somehow was turned on to me for not realising his till was closed in the first place, following this experience I will be making a formal complaint as these are poor standards of service and basic communication and a message to Laurence find a job more suited to your skill level.
Easy to access and park. Well stocked and good prices. Fresh products. Friendly staff.
Called into your store this morning thought we would have a change from Aldi first impressions were excellent but it was spoilt for us at checkout as we are both quite elderly we found that the woman on checkout hurried the items through it was a struggle to keep up with her she seemed to enjoy it.
Cannot park even though I was displayed my blue badge and was fined. Will never go there again. Thanks Parking eye
I've shopped in Lidl for years! But lately have found some staff hostile & am fed up of them asking me if my bags are my own..I have said 'do they look new? & this one has Aldi on it!' Plus today the alarms went off as i left the shop..i was stopped..i had nothing to worry about..i had my receipt on me..but plz Lidl sort out your alarm system..& sort out your trolleys outside too..seen many customers struggle last few weeks with getting the £1 coin in & then not being able to retrieve after return!! Wish you were back in Priory St,service was so much better then!!
