Plenty of free car parking but only for limited time. No frills supermarket with mostly cheap prices. Good fresh bakery - a bit pricey. Checkout quite stressful. Can buy newspapers and magazines here as well as sundry stuff in middle aisle.
Following the trend in other Lidl shops the small shopping baskets have been removed from this store. When I asked the manager why, the answer was that baskets on wheels would be better for my back! Ridiculous
Today was shopping here and one of the employees on the self serve area start swearing and say bad words and he ask the manager to come. The manager she come and ask what is happening i tell and not believe me,believe the man swear me without try to investigate to se what is happening there and ask me to show prove of recording i tell her to send a email but she not give me one . I left the till and he try to intimidate and told me if i m rude i m not allowed to do shopping here . No words about this unprofessional attitude from manager , employee to customer . With all the evidence i do a complain about this unhappy incident today .
Typical Lidl, easy parking, larger shopping area than some Lidls.nGot what I needed, though there is not a huge choice of ready meals for the microwave, which I prefer.nNot the easiest place to leave if turning right, fortunately not all motorists are permanently hurtling, and some actually give way to let you out.nHas a charge point in the corner of the car park; one half in use, though I didn't need it.
I visited Lidl at Hersham to take advantage of a £10 off voucher i got from the Sun. On arrival there is a huge car park, which is free for the 90 minutes i believe. The shop was well set out well with loads of fresh produce. There is so much choice and it is all reasonably priced. Bargains everywhere. There is also a large restroom and baby change. The staff were friendly and happy to help. I enjoyed my visit.
